A typical day at work is that of any fast food restaurant. You come in, clock in, and go to your assigned duties for that day.
I learned better people skills while working at Wendy's, as this is a very social job.
The management for the location I was employed at were terrible. Many were rude, ignorant, and many took advantage of the free meals given to the management.
My co-workers were great, many were very kind to me, and I made a few friends in the process. However, a lot of them were fed up with the situation at the restaurant, and quit soon after I joined.
The hardest part of the job was trying to fill orders in a timely manner. That's not anyone's fault, it just happens. Once the drive through gets filled up and dinner rush is happening in the dining room, a lot of orders get backed up. The cooks can only go so fast.
The most enjoyable part of my job was being able to work with so many amazing people. I always worked the front counter, and I got to meet so many friendly customers. A lot of them were regulars and were absolutely the most pleasant people. I loved the customers. I loved talking to them and making them happy. It was the biggest thing that made working at Wendy's atleast a little worth it.
Horrible management, Unpredictable hours, Extremely low pay, Absolutely no benefits.
