Pros: no micromanaging, bonus potentials, fun fast paced environment
Cons: scheduling, working all holidays, all saturdays, i needed to be available 100% of the time in order to make sure the store was functioning properly
selling and converting shoppers to buyers
I've learned valuable communication skills as well
as problem solving skills.
I have great co-workers and minimal supervision.
the hardest part of the job is lack of feedback from my supervisor.
I enjoyed working with my staff, superiors and co-workers/mentors.

I was also not properly trained to engrave merchandise. I noticed the "manager" spent more days at the Altoona store than her store,so she had associates do all her work. Daily banking and company paperwork was not completed by manager for months and she herself violated more company policy rules, then had employees written up for the same thing. The District Manager is also worthless as he covers the managers butt for corporate???(why, I wonder) BIG turnover in employees and assistant managers. Until the Manager and District manager are gone don't bother applying for the job!
