During my time of employment at Thompson Hood, I always started my day with first rounds which consisted of vitals, checking, changing and getting ready for an evening meal. Working here taught me that if you have a job you love, stick with it and work through any problems you face. I loved the people I took care of and was considered their family. I also know that my leaving was like losing a family member in some of their eyes. I miss them terribly. As far as management, like most places, everyone there had an idea of how things could be ran better, but I did my job and it paid off because I received some of the highest evaluation scores there. My co-workers and I had few problems, I always tried to get along and am happy to help . I think the hardest part of my job was probably picking up slack when others would fall behind. The most enjoyable part of my job was knowing that anyone that I was taking care of was always glad to see me and look forward to my being there.
