Full Time Dietary Manager
Assure quality dietary services by directing, coordinating, and supervising Dietary Services staff.
Assume responsibility as Dietary Services Director in accordance with local, state, and federal sanitation and other laws regulating food service, as well as Facility policies and procedures.
Assure provision of nutritional, attractively served meals as ordered by patients’ attending physician in accordance with approved corporate menu cycle.
Assess the nutritional needs of residents
Participate in Care Plan Activities
Provides resident with enhanced dining experience
Trains staff in food preparation and presentation
Performs other duties as assigned.
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
Certified Dietary Manager, Serv-Safe Certified
Must keep registration current by attending seminars and/or workshops
Must be knowledgeable of cost accounting, record keeping, budget planning, menu planning, diet therapy, and purchasing procedures, as well as dietary management and serve on related committees as needed.
Must have demonstrated experience with MDS 3.0 and ability to accurately assess nutritional needs of residents.
Must have leadership skills inherent in performing the position
Experience with quantity food service production and service
Complies with Code of Ethics and Standards of Performance of Dietary Manager Association
