The Three Seasons Ski Club is the primary water sports organization on Lake Cochituate. The purpose of the club is to encourage all forms of water recreation with a strong emphasis on safety and protection of the beautiful environment that is our state park. The club sponsors one slalom tournament per year, but is comprised primarily of recreational skiers and wakeboarders of varying ability. We do not have a club boat, but the club does maintain two slalom courses and a ski jump intended for the use of our members.
Why join the Three Seasons Ski Club? It only costs $15 a year! Water skiing and wakeboarding are a special privilege on Lake Cochituate. Very few state parks in New England allow water sports at all. But here on Cochituate, the park has also granted the club annual permits to install the slalom courses and jump. One of the major reasons we have this facility is the Three Season Ski Club's roughly three decade relationship with the state park. The club has helped the park with various cleanups, provided safety-related signs on the lake, and sponsored a variety of events with the park, including the annual handicapped boat rides. The club also always has a representative on the State Park Advisory Committee. The best way to ensure the future of water sports on Lake Cochituate is to maintain a large and active membership, and to continue to set the example for responsible use of this great resource.
So how do I join? To become an associate member, simply print out this form and send it, along with your $15 annual dues, to the above address. If you are interested in becoming more active with the club, or want to organize any kind of event, you should consider becoming a charter member. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
