Process warranty requests from field offices by coordinating with the field personnel, engineering and design departments as well as manufacturing facilities to insure the correct material is provided. Research requests for information that material was purchased, shipped, or covered under the existing warranty policy.

I learned a lot about elevator parts, installation, maintenance.
I worked well with my co-workers as we interacted a lot to discuss material needs. The hardest part of the job was trying to figure out what materail was needed when the customer was unable to communicate information in an understandable fashion. I most enjoyable part of my job was the interaction with the customers. Although they all had issues or they would not have been calling the warranty department most had a good attitude and i enjoyed the interaction. – less
