You will be working with a dynamic team to provide primary care in an outpatient setting to multicultural and multilingual patient populations.
DUTIES: It is a Great opportunity for Obstetricians looking to make a difference in the community. Provide care for the pregnant and Gyn patients, commensurate with training under the direction of our Chief Medical Officer. Provide supervision to PA's and Nurse Practitioners, supervise MA's and lab personnel in area specific support services for patient care delivery. Provide review and countersignature of client charts including the charts seen by Physicians Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Certified Nurse Midwives. Sign RXs and documents that require a medical doctor's signature. Patients will be referred to our contracted OBG groups for deliveries, so need to go to the Emergency rooms or to the hospitals in the middle of the nights for Emergencies or deliveries.
REQUIRED: Medical degree (M.D.) and completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Licensed to practice in State of California; Must be Board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; board certification is highly desirable. Current DEA license and CPR certification. Bilingual in English and one of the following languages is strongly preferred: Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Farsi, or Punjabi. Basic Computer knowledge is preferable as we are transitioning to EHR (NextGen). H-1B applicants welcome to apply!
OTHER DETAILS: Mon-Fri, 40 hrs/week; some Saturday work, extended hours, and on-call may be required. Productivity expectations are 24 patients per 8 hour shift.
