Customer Care (Former Employee), East Syracuse, NYAugust 3, 2015
Pros: A lot of sales incentives
Cons: Very unforgiving in the Customer Care department in comparison to other departments.
Overall Time Warner Cable is a great company to work for. If you plan to go anywhere in the company you need to hit the ground running or know someone. There are a lot of opportunities to advance but there is also a lot of competition because it is such a large company. (They tend to promote from within too which is great)

Good company to work for if you can get out of customer care dept
Customer Service Agent (Current Employee), Charlotte, NCAugust 3, 2015
Good company if you can get out of Customer Care, where they make the least amount and deal with most issues. Management have a tendency to micro-manage and there are instances where where favoritism is use.

NOC (Network Operations Center) Technician (Current Employee), East Syracuse, NYAugust 3, 2015
Pros: Room for advancement
Cons: Work/Life balance
In this position you are constantly doing the job of 6 people at one time. The day flies by, but it can be very stressful. Co-workers are enjoyable. The most enjoyable part of the position is networking yourself with other engineering departments.

Great experience with sales but horrible management ethics.
Direct Sales Representative (Former Employee), Florence, KYJuly 30, 2015
Pros: Some control in how much money you make
Cons: management is more worried about themselves than employees and customers
I gained some great experience in understanding the sales process. The only negative aspect was the poor ethics by management and the "once the customers buy the product ignore their problems" attitude the management and staff had.

Very poor communication
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), lexington KentuckyJuly 28, 2015
On many different times, customer would receive information in the mail, that customer services agent was not aware of, which mean the customer had a bad experience, having to stay on the phone longer while on hold and they agent going to supervisor hopping they may the information needed for the customer. And many times the supervisor was not aware of changes made. They have good benefits.
