TLC was a wonderful hospital to work for, everyday was different from the day before. I learned the many duties that someone who becomes as phlebotomist must do everyday. I learned all the different jobs it takes to be a successful phlebotomist. Management is very Important job to have. You have to know and learn all the different tubes and stoppers for the many different testing. Whether the specimens need to be refrigerated , spun down or not.
Working with other people in the lab can be difficult. My co-workers were enjoyable to work with. The hardest part of the job was keeping the patients calm when drawing their blood. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to know the patients I was working with.
