Toshiba America, Inc. (TAI) is the spitting image of its old man. The holding company, a subsidiary of high-tech titan Toshiba, handles North American business for its formidable parent. TAI's operating companies market laptops, netbooks, and PCs; MRIs and other medical imaging systems; semiconductors and hard disk drives; copiers and other office – more... equipment; and a range of consumer electronics products (television sets, HD camcorders, DVD players). The company also provides grants for science and mathematics education through its not-for-profit organization, the Toshiba America Foundation.
