This is a great opportunity if you are ready to work 60+ hours a week; nights, weekends and holidays to prepare for strong phone appointment setting 2 days a week for three days of face time with prospects. You will prepare all administrative work after prime selling hours (which are 9-4). The 5 week training schedule is obscure and not completely relevant to your daily requirements, but there are some good points to gain from it.
Compensation is fair and you're expected to reach your goals within 3-4 months of hire. The honeymoon is over after 12 months. Then you better be atleast 80% of goal.
First year earnings with no outside sales experience (if you survive) is $45-55,000. Aggressive, experienced phone appointment setters can do better, $55-60,00 in the first year, but that's rare.
Turnover is very high. 70% of the people from your training class will be gone within 6 months. Then only one or two will survive another year.
Industry is Flat, more focus is on selling third party software. Hardware is outdated and not best in class.
Earning potential can be good for the few that survive., Great place to learn about how other businesses function.
Can be a grueling work load., Stressful., Not always fun., Must cold call prospect outside regardless of weather conditions., High Turnover!
