SUMMARY OF POSITION
This is an opportunity to join a growing, winning, team that is changing the way that organizations secure their most critical data and devices. Total Defense is recruiting for two roles: Account Manager and Business Development Representative.

The Account Manager is responsible for working with existing customers to close service renewals, and expand the scope of Total Defense business within accounts. The Business Development Representative is responsible for acquiring new customers. Both roles work closely with our Channel Account Managers, business partners and sales leadership to meet & exceed sales objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create new sales opportunities for solutions in mid-­‐market accounts through focused telephone campaigns, seminars, and other innovative demand generation activities
  • Rapidly understand prospects’ and customers’ security needs, and position Total Defense to augment or replace existing and competitive solutions
  • Manage all stages of the sales cycle: pipeline management, forecasting, prospecting, sales account management, negotiation and closing
  • Establish a strong, trust-­‐based, working relationship with key partners
  • Meet critical metrics goals of 60 calls and 2.5 hours of talk time daily
  • Maintain and expand sales, solutions, industry, market and competitive knowledge and skills
  • Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction within the accounts in the territory

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of quota-­‐carrying inside sales experience
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue quota goals
  • Experience with software or cloud services industry
  • Security experience a plus, but not necessary
  • 4-­‐year University degree
  • “Can do” attitude and demonstrated ability to win

SKILLS

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced team environment
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office
