Don't find many jobs that you would have a good boss.
Recruiter/Customer Service Rep (Former Employee), Richland, MS – December 30, 2013
Pros: working as a team.
Cons: worked holidays sometimes.
Recruiting drivers was the highlight of the job. Talking to them over the phone and hearing about their experiences and places they've been almost made me want to drive. Mine you, these are experience drives with years under their belts before they come to Total. So, the only thing needed with them is a background check and work history verification. – more... There were only 3 of us in the department so the atmosphere was cooperative. Everyone worked together to get the job done. We all worked with and on computers constantly in order to get the information we needed to hire the driver. The atmosphere was the best part of the job to me. My boss was one of a kind and couldn't ask for anyone better. – less
Total Transportation was a great place to learn new things!
Accounts Payable/Receivable & Collections (Former Employee), Broussard, LA – June 18, 2013
At Total Transportation I was able to work my way up to the accounting department. I was a file clerk then promoted to collections within 2 months. After two months in collections I was asked to move over to payroll where I input the information for payroll checks and printed the checks up. I also did receivables and fuel tax at that point as well. – more... It was a great opportunity to learn new things! – less
