Towne Park was founded in 1988 in Annapolis, Maryland by Jerry South. After jockeying for a chance to run the Annapolis Hotel's (now the Loews Annapolis Hotel) parking service in 1987, Mr. South stumbled upon a business niche and literally ran with it.

Mr. South's entrepreneurial spirit and ingenious business sense have built Towne Park from one parking

Through self-education, relationship-building, ingenuity and perseverance, Mr. South has forged a strong professional rapport and reputation within Towne Park's respective industries and has proven to be a strong, dynamic leader of a growing and ever-improving organization.

Believing that great people make companies great, Mr. South endeavors to create opportunities for Towne Park employees to grow, learn, and prosper. Mr. South initiated Towne Park's employee stock bonus program that boasts over 50 employee partners today and envisions over 100 employee partners by 2010.

Mr. South and Towne Park's executive team identified and secured a private equity partner which holds a minority interest in Towne Park. This partnership with The Camden Group will enable the execution of key acquisition and organic growth initiatives.

Today, Mr. South is focused on ensuring the execution of Towne Park's strategic direction and foundation of senior level talent. In addition, Mr. South will continue fostering and cultivating a unique culture within Towne Park and keeping it alive. Without a dynamic culture, the company would not be able to attract or retain The Very Best People - Towne Park's guarantee to clients nationwide.

Mr. South is a member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association's Allied Executive Committee. He also resides on the board of the National Parking Association, and is a founding member and board member of the National Valet Parking Association. – lessMore from ZoomInfo »
