Great ideas. Great team. Questionable leadership decisions.
Account Lead + Strategist (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAJune 13, 2012
This was my first and only boutique agency experience and the agency principals gave me a lot of room to direct my own account and creative teams—often pitching in on a variety of creative assignments. I left the agency because of a less-than-adequate new hire who was placed as my superior. My once trusted role was eventually micro-managed and belittled and this is what ultimately forced me to make the hard decision to leave on my own terms and start my own agency.
Pros
incredible creative output, great team and initial mentoring.
Cons
lackluster upper management

The company felt like a family, more than any other I worked for in the past. Training was excellent, work / life balance and the employees were smart and efficient. Thanks
