Spa Therapist, St Petersburg Beach, FL - September 19, 2017
"Bodyworks" at Tradewinds is anything but luxurious. I worked as a therapist there for almost one year. Right from the get go there were problems with management, cleanliness of the spa room and utensils and an issue with mold. I proceeded to get the room in an orderly manner as best I could. I continued to accumulate a laundry list of things that were not correct and that needed to be fixed. Some got taken care of and some didn't. The spa manager is also in charge of two or three other shops on the property so he has no time to designate to the spa in order for it to run efficiently. In addition, the equipment is outdated, old and probably unsanitary. I mentioned on several occasions that it needed to be replaced. Now I won't say that there weren't good parts to this job because there definitely were. I loved my co-workers and the clientele at the resort. Unfortunately Tradewinds doesn't want to spend any extra money to keep this part of the resort up to par.
