This is a high dollar sale with significant income potential. It is a position for a Medical Sales Professional who is experienced selling to Acute Care Hospitals with multi-tiered decision processes and long term contracts. This is NOT a Telemarketer or Customer Service position. No pharmaceutical reps.

Business will be conducted primarily be via telephone and the web. The position will work from our San Diego CA, Sorrento Mesa office.

Duties:

  • Develop business with assigned Acute Care Hospitals with specific GPO contracts
  • Build relationships with GPO representatives
  • Fully understand TransDyne's business proposition/ service solutions relative to prospect’s needs
  • Deal with prospects in a consultative manner to identify areas of deficiency with present methods and relate TransDyne's business solutions effectively
  • Have the ability to develop marketing materials appropriate for this audience- hospital prospect base and GPOs
  • Close business
  • Utilize CRM database appropriately to target activity and ensure all information is updated and correct
  • Effectively manage internal resources for support
  • Accurately maintain business status and deliver sales reports/ updates in a timely manner to management
  • Attend Professional Conferences/ Trade Shows
  • Make site visits for presentations to prospect locations as required

Qualifications:

  • MUST be an experienced Medical Sales Representative presently selling to Acute Care Hospitals
  • Experience selling Medical Services, Medical Software, or Medical Devices to the targeted base
  • Experience selling to contact points in C-Suite and Business Office. Medical Records/ HIM experience and knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of Healthcare GPO dynamics
  • Formal sales training
  • Self-Starter with exceptional organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, make effective presentations, and close business
  • Experience dealing with medium to potentially long sales cycles (3 months to 1 year)
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Working knowledge of EMR Systems and IT/ Networking
  • Expert level in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Consistent employment history with a record of achievement
  • Capable of overnight/ weekend travel to attend Professional Conferences/ Trade Shows

  • Compensation: Base salary plus commissions and bonuses
