Travel Intak is seeking a full-time, experienced PHP Web Developer to manage software development for several new and existing web properties. The ideal candidate will have experience building custom PHP web applications and APIs with a heavy emphasis on web-to-mobile and e-commerce related programming. You will play a critical role within a dynamic small-team environment, contributing to the ongoing development of best-in-class travel insurance web applications.

Travel Intak is part of one of the largest International travel insurance distributors through our parent company, SecuriGlobe, offering unparalleled expertise in health and travel insurance. We launched our US division in October 2012.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop web applications, services, interfaces and integrated systems
Create and develop new software for existing applications
Support of our suite of website, affiliate and networking web properties
Build and maintain APIs and RESTful services
Debug and troubleshoot errors
Develop mobile apps

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working within LAMP Stack: Linux, Apache, MySQL & PHP
Knowlege of object-oriented PHP development
Strong web development (HTML, CSS/LESS, JS/JQuery) Skills
Experience in API development
Development experience in e-commerce and transactional websites
Understanding of mobile development practices with PhoneGap/Appcelerator
Understanding of Git for source control
Solid Proven Experience in working with scalable production environments
Knowledge of cloud computing and development
Troubleshooting and debugging experience in large environments
Attention to detail, be able to work in a team and hit deadlines
