They don't want to talk to you over the phone. Their jobs pay below the already prevailing low wage. Other temp services do pay closer to the regular wage the actual company pays if you were working directly for them. The application process is more like a bidding a process. Once you fill out your profile and are ready to start applying for their posted jobs, the application will just ask you about 4 qualifying questions to screen you out. The one question that is always asked every time is " How much are wanting to make"- something like that. It gives the range 8-9, 9-10, 10-11....The question about the hourly wage is never first. It's always sandwiched between the other questions. As soon as it's established that you are not willing to go below 10/hr, the screen will say that you do not meet the qualifications for this position. It's a race to the bottom at TRC Staffing.
