My role and the timing of things as they were, I cannot say that any day was typical. I had to wear multiple hats: web development, content management, network IT. Putting up web pages for a sale one minute, and fixing the office firewall that next my priorities were always shifting. However, I learned a lot on my feet, and some of the most hectic days turned out to be some of the best in my career so far.
The GM at the time is probably the best I have ever worked for. The company does regular performance reviews and in my tenure they rewarded me generously. I can't speak for those in other departments, but as my responsibilities increased as did my compensation.
