SUMMARY: Assist in the direction of the clinical component and assist in the facilitation of organization-wide quality improvement and program development.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • TB Test and Health Screen Required
  • CPR and First Aid
  • Masters Degree; California Licensed (MFT, LCSW or 3years; 2years experience in a day treatment or residential hospital setting)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement all Company rules, policies and guidelines consistently
  • Maintain Facility Standards and inform program Administrator of any deficiencies
  • Implement all facility health and safety standards
  • Support Company line of authority and maintain positive attitude in work environment
  • Maintain professionalism in interactions with staff and clients at all times and exercise maturity of judgment
  • Follow through on all directives left by the Clinical Director
  • Attend and participate in all staff meetings/in service training(s)
  • Document in progress notes following professional protocol
  • Read communication log and initial. Documents any additional concerns or vital information for staff in the communication log as appropriate
  • Familiarization with client charts on ongoing basis, awareness of all pertinent client information
  • Attend and participate in special occasion activities for clients
  • Any and all other duties as director by the Director of Treatment Services
  • Supportive crisis counseling with clients individual and group counseling as assigned or needed
  • Assume responsibility for facility, staff and clients in Director of Treatment Services absence
  • Supervise following professional protocol as needed
  • Obtain necessary release to confer with outside professionals regarding treatment of a client
  • Upon admission, verify that client has completed all assessments
  • Within 24 hours of assignment to a client, fill out Clinical Admission Note, Needs and Service Plan and Multidisciplinary Audit Form
  • Following collection of items, check their completion in client chart
  • Every week update and review the Master Treatment Plan
  • Weekly help client identify contract goals and bring suggestions to Treatment Team meeting
  • Discharge Pans: fill sheet our ahead of time with client
  • See assigned client as required by the Company
  • Maintain professional boundaries with clients at all time
  • Oversees and participates in the quality assurance and utilization review activities of the facility
