Requires Bachelor's degree in a Mental Health related filed and two years experience in Mental Health field (will consider hiring someone with less than two years experience at a lower salary). Applicants must qualify as QMHP, as defined by DSHS. This position is responsible for providing mobile crisis outreach services in the community during and outside of operational clinic hours (Monday-Friday). Work involves telephone triage and assessment, travel to safe locations in the community for face-to-face assessments, disposition decisions in response to assessment information, and close collaboration with crisis hotline staff, other agencies and service provider staff. This position is to provide assessment and appropriate crisis intervention services in community settings such as hospitals, jails and schools. Position is responsible for developing treatment plans, providing crisis intervention and follow up, as well as doing all documentation associated with services provided for persons who are in crisis or in need of more intense training and treatment to improve their functioning and stability. This position will work collaboratively with on duty and off duty law enforcement officers, PETC staff and other team members in responding to crisis at the PETC and other community locations. This position works two, 12-hour shifts (from 7 am-7 pm or 7 pm-7 am) on Saturday and Sunday. Applicants must have a valid TDL and be insurable through Tri-County. Non-smokers strongly preferred.
