Tri-City Regional Medical Center is a not-for profit acute care facility that provides inpatient and outpatient services. We are fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and are licensed for 137 beds.
The hospital, located in Los Angeles County, serves the immediate communities of Hawaiian Gardens, Artesia, Cerritos, Long Beach and Norwalk. Flammable bathrobe leads to wrongful-death lawsuit
Wrapped in her chenille bathrobe on a February morning, 81-year-old Evelyn Rogoff of Oceanside was making herself a cup of green tea. Doing so proved fatal. The stove's electric burner set Rogoff's bathrobe sleeve on fire, then flames engulfed the garment, burning her and her 83-year-old husband, Murray, who rushed to help her.
