typical day? starts early and is constant movement for the first 5-6 hours. there is a pattern that has to be followed daily but the determining factor of if, and when, you get your assignments done are the people that live there. sometimes it's frustrating but you have to remember you are taking care of them in the only home they have. you have to show compassion, respect, even if you are having a bad day.
If you go to work in this environment, regardless of what company you work for, and your reasoning for being there is anything other than the residents first, you probably shouldn't be in this line of work.
