I arrive @ work @ 7:30am, Through out I have developed people skills, many nursing procedures, casting, wound care and care of patients. For the most part management has been good. The co workers are knowledgeable in their duties. The hardest part is office politics which I avoid. The daily process of caring for the patients are the most rewarding.

Group Facilitator (Former Employee), Trinity, AL – January 7, 2013
Pros: allowed me to be "real" with men who were accustomed to prison and church life.
Cons: i wasn't able to get employment at this facility and there was no compensation, other than a grade.
While working with a clientele who'd be incarcerated and were now in a Christian-based work release program, gave me an opportunity to fuse Christian principles with real world experiences.

Prepair and serve daily meals
Correctional Food Service Production Supervisor (Current Employee), San Luis, AZ – November 7, 2012
Pros: free lunch
Supervise inmates in the kitchen while they prepare and cook the food for the yard population. I have learned how important it is to know health, safety, food codes and making sure the kitçhen is a safe environment to work in. I managed to take full repsonsibility to make sure the food is cook at the right temperature. The hardest part is making sure – more... we dont run out of food. I enjoy working with company staff and making sure every one eats good and healthy food. – less

Food steward (Former Employee), Clifton, Tn – October 29, 2012
Pros: as long as you were working you were entitled to meals.
Cons: we were told to take breaks but didn't have the personnel yo take them.
On any given work day, I was in charge of anywhere between 15 and 35 inmates. These inmates were assigned duties which included cleaning the kitchen, serving areas cooking and cleaning the two dinning rooms, one for staff members and one for inmates.. During this process we also had to load and unload food trailers, rotate stock and send completely – more... cooked meals to two satellite kitchens. Also during all of this if I caught an inmate stealing, I had to write him up and produce irrefutable evidence both physical and photographic in order to bring charges of job dismissal. I quickly learned that no matter how much proof I had against an inmate I could not get the charges to stick. They kept sending them back to their same jobs and with back pay. That was the hardest part of the job. The most enjoyable was actually helping those that needed help and wouldn't ask anyone but me

Crash course in TV production
Line Producers' Production Assistant (Former Employee), New York, NY – August 21, 2012
Pros: learned everything there is to know about tv production
Cons: low pay
I was an assistant to a producer who was involved with every stage of production, which meant I knew everything about how to create a TV show. I also learned basic office management etiquette, like answering phones and distributing memos. Pay was low, especially for a job located in New York City, but I appreciated just having the opportunity. Also – more... learned how to deal with some difficult personalities. – less

Its a fast moving job that require you to be on your feet and constantly moving.
Cleaning Crew Member (Current Employee), Philadelphia, PA – August 17, 2012
Pros: free lunch and uniform
Cons: no breaks
A typical day would start with workers arriving at the job sit prepping for work and then being assigned there section. It's constant work because we're servicing big events. Coworkers are very tolerable and helpful and willing to teach and learn. The job offers great cleaning and sanitation experience. The management is very helpful in guiding workers – more... and showing understanding. The hardest part is the flooded restrooms. The most enjoyable part would have to be the appreciation of the customers. – less

soldador (Current Employee), Sabinas, COA – January 22, 2013
