It was an exciting experience
Iron Worker/Prestress Fabricator (Former Employee) –  Honolulu, HIOctober 20, 2013
Safety was the #1 on the list when doing our job. Safety inspector was always on the top of things. It was a job that paid well and I didn't need to read any blue prints. Since working in a top secret facility we had to be sure all our papers to get onto base was always on us. Wearing our badges was something to get used to. Worked with a lot of different workers so needed to know how to work along each individual. Hardest part of the job was, watching the tide and going unto a floating raft which we would use to go under the pier to place rebar and tie wire and later pour concrete. The most enjoyable part was the end of the job the company would treat us to pizza's.
finishing 2 hrs. early and getting paid for it.
worked throgh lunch
