Labor. (Former Employee) – Nixon, NV – August 4, 2015
I just started working for this company during my interview my supervisor told me to keep looking for outher work because this a temporary position. The work was great it's what I was looking for then I noticed that his eye for safety is lacking and his pep talks we're terrible most jobs have a safety meeting before shift...nope we got were falling behind ....how? With a dead line of 5 months and it wasn't a big job! His mangement style is just to brand new for me.
Iron Worker/Prestress Fabricator (Former Employee) – Honolulu, HI – October 20, 2013
Safety was the #1 on the list when doing our job. Safety inspector was always on the top of things. It was a job that paid well and I didn't need to read any blue prints. Since working in a top secret facility we had to be sure all our papers to get onto base was always on us. Wearing our badges was something to get used to. Worked with a lot of different workers so needed to know how to work along each individual. Hardest part of the job was, watching the tide and going unto a floating raft which we would use to go under the pier to place rebar and tie wire and later pour concrete. The most enjoyable part was the end of the job the company would treat us to pizza's.
