TriVita's greatest challenge is that it is always a step behind when it comes to innovation. Every time the company tries to market a new product, it's something that can easily be found elsewhere at a lower cost, and products are always marketed to the elderly on fixed incomes, when younger demographics provide a much larger consumer base. Throughout the recent sales decline, the company has also hesitated to cut expenses to the necessary level, in order to ensure positive cash flow, which has put its ability to move forward in jeopardy. In a typical work day, employees are treated well, and not micromanaged in most cases. Studies show that time spent working from home is substantially more productive, and TriVita never did accept this approach to increasing productivity, which in turn would cut one of the largest expenses...wages. Overall, it was an enjoyable place to work.
