Pros: hours, pay, benefits
Cons: lack of overtime
A typical day at work as a Customer Service Rep consists of addressing customer concerns, questions and issues as well as solving them in a timely manner while on the phone. I learned that even though situations are personal for customers, I cannot make it personal for me. I learned that a little empathy goes a long way when dealing with frustrated and upset customers. The managers that I report to are friendly and fair but take care of business. Since I am a Bachelor in Business Management student, I tend to watch others in management position to help prepare me for management, and I love that my managers are able to draw a line when it comes to work but are able to still relate and interact with their employees to make the environment comfortable. The work environment and co-workers are absolutely wonderful. We are all like a family and support and work together to provide everyone with an enjoyable day. The most enjoyable part of the day is all day when surrounded by co-workers and managers that are motivators, teachers, comedians and hard workers.
