Performs a variety of tasks including answering and directing phone calls, patient appointment scheduling, scanning incoming medical correspondence/records.
Communication and coordination among team members is essential to this process.
Updates schedules and maintains accurate field staff schedules. Understands the visit/productivity standards within the guidelines of the Home Health Department Notifies clinical supervisor /manager immediately when scheduling needs can not be met Communicates all problems, risk management issues, safety concerns, and complaints as reported by staff to Clinical supervisor/manager Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 3 months in Home Health experience as Scheduler
- Diploma required but Associate degree preferred
- Ability to multitask and time management are a must
- Excellent computer skills, attention to detail.
