The Average Day Summary
Retail Sales Consultant (Former Employee), Tucson, AZMay 24, 2012
Pros: a good job for carpenters with sales experience.
Cons: lots and lots of company rules
Work hours are not assigned as earnings are based upon straight commissions for sales of storage buildings, garages and cabins to homeowners and land owners. A typical day is mostly follow-up phone calls to customer leads obtained at Home Shows, Rodeos and Fairs. The most difficult part of the job is learning how to deal with the various cities and – more... counties, each with different laws and regulations. The enjoyment and fun is dealing face to face with customers with buy interest, assisting in design of the storage shed or garage. Frequent checks of building sites to determine locations for construction. Good job if you like to make lots of phone calls and participate in regular telemarketing efforts. – less

America's Premier Storage and Garage Solution
Business Development Specialist (Current Employee), Denver,COJanuary 26, 2012
A top quality manufacturer of pre-fabricated storage sheds and garages. Still recovering from the national economic downturn which occasionally causes glitches in performance but recovering nicely on the upside. Still needs "smoothing" of customer service and customer communication, never the less, a likely prospect for someone starting their career – more... in manufacturing, construction or sales. Has a robust internet marketing presence that should only get better. Due to somewhat longer growth slope, not as promising for someone extending their career. – less
