a busy fast pace job
Cashier (Former Employee), Wyomissing, PA –
Pros: fast pace, time flys
Cons: short breaks. bad hours
I would normally be in drive through, but i knew how to work everything. I was mostly a floater. I learned how to make sandwiches and take orders.I enjoyed everything just knowing that I got a person feed I was happy. My manager really didnt get along with me due to family issues.

Productive
Tess Zook - Manager (Current Employee), lancaster, pa –
This is a nice place to work. Always busy with things to do. We have fun joking with each other. Management is nice and they get along with all us co-workers. All us co-workers get along we have our times but we get along joking and things. Hardest part of this job would have to be when a customer is yelling at you and you have to calmly tell them why – more...  you have to do things this way. – less

Cashier (Former Employee), Lancaster PA –
Pros: free slushie/fountain soda drinks
Cons: n/a
Working at Turkey Hill was always a fast paced place to work at. There were multiple things that had to be done during the day. The co-workers are always open minded to new ideas and scheduling.

The customers were always the highlight of my work day. My co-workers were ok. Management was horrible.
Sales Associate and Closer (Former Employee), Hanover, PA –
My customers were always the highlight of my night. They were amazing. My co-workers were ok, but I did not like the fact that I was the only one working and picking up everyone's slack. The store was a complete mess until I came and turned the store around. I worked more than the managers did. I was treated unfairly there and that is why I left.

Beware
Manager (Former Employee), Columbus ohio –
This company is lost in direction, leadership, and basic overall day to day operations of it's stores. They do not even have daily inventories,(sapr) etc. There is no training program, your time is spent cleaning stores, we had 10 manager trainies that had been with the company over 4 months, but did not qualify for manager benefits, because they did – more...  not have enough stores to place them into. Take a job with this company at your own risk, 80hrs a week for them is not enough. – less

More work less personal time.
Assistant Manager (Former Employee), Reading, PA –
Pros: weekly checks, good pay for an assistant manager
Cons: no life, few days off, had to be on call 24/7
I would have to come in to work on days I had off or work one shift go home rest for like 8 hrs and come in to do another shif, and I was just an assistant. My days off i couldn't enjoy them because I would live with the fear of getting called in to work so i couldn't even go out and have a drink with my friends becuase i never knew if I was going to – more...  get called in. My personal life was going down the drain too. Since it operates 24/7 you basically got no personal time because you never know when your gonna get called in. 45 hrs a week was a minimum requirement as an assistant. The only good thing was that the pay was good and I got paid every week. – less
