Fast pace , great benefits
Payroll Specialist (Former Employee), Cincinnati, OH –
Input of both weekly and monthly payroll.
Problem solving , New hire set ups, unemployment process.
Co workers were good. There was a lot of repetition.
I enjoyed meeting deadlines and handling payroll issues that popped up.

Productive Workplace
Project Superintendent / Project Engineer (Current Employee), Cincinnati, OH –
Everyday is a new challenge and new learning experience. The hardest part of the job is learning 'on the fly' and filling roles on short notice. The fun part of the job is learning about many different areas in the business.

Through my time with the company, I've learned the superintendent and engineering roles, while also picking up purchasing and – more...  cost experience. – less

Turner Summary
Sr. Project Manager (Former Employee), Dallas, TX –
I wasted 10+ years of my career with Turner completing all of my assigned tasks successfully and to the benefit of their expectations only to be released when I should have been offered viable option during the difficult period in the later part of 08.

Turner policy now is to release any of their experienced personnel that exceed their bottom line – more...  compensation and hiring younger employees who require a compensation package that compliments their experience requiring comparable results.

Turner has an exceptional turn around and the average employment with the company is 3 years. – less

Work Environment
Accountant (Former Employee), Dubai –
The work environment in Turner is so freedom. When i work with Turner i enjoyed to work with multi nationality peoples. I found there was no hesitation to coordinate from Top Management to bottom level cadre. So Turner was the best employer during my career.

Not a very good corporation to work for
Project Engineer (Former Employee), Indianapolis, IN –
Pros: brand name recognition
Cons: lacked opportunities, poor management
Turner was not a pleasant company to work with. You are subject to their discretion with respect to relocations. They fostered an environment of closed internal cliques and squelched imagination toward improvements. If you appreciate the opportunity to think and contribute, then look elsewhere.

Productive workplace with great support staff.
Intern Civil Engineer (Former Employee), Port of Spain, Trinidad –
Pros: great learning experience, great compensation package.
Cons: not enough supervision or responsibility.
I interned at UDECOTT for a couple months and learned mostly from my assigned engineer mentor and from shadowing other field engineers. Did not have much interaction with other staff. Nor did I have many major responsibilities. My primary goal was to learn as much as I could which I did. I only wish that the internship was more structured where I had – more...  more supervision and was given more responsibility. – less

Turner is a construction giant, however it is more like working for an insurance company than a construction company.
Sr. Superintendent (Former Employee), Ohio –
Turner does try to keep their staff trained with the latest greatest concepts,....but sometimes projects need a bit more attention and a little less time wasted in training.
