Location: San Francisco
Twelvefold Media is offering a part time/full time entry-level internship within its Finance team. The position will perform various financial and accounting duties, with an emphasis on revenue analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate is a degree seeking student or recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Primary responsibilities will include assisting the Director of Finance in tracking revenue/sales performance, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data included in forecasts, updating weekly sales/finance reports, and using analysis to assist in driving informed decision-making.
- Update weekly revenue and pipeline reports
- Assist with monthly revenue close, commissions calculation, revenue reporting and reconciliation
- Perform ad-hoc revenue performance analysis
- Compile and analyze monthly and quarterly sales and operating metrics
- Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly forecast to actual reports
- Ensure data integrity in Salesforce
- Assist with various accounting functions
- Strong attention to detail, well organized and able to work effectively in fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with a degree/pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
- Ability to understand and articulate financial statements and data
- High level of proficiency in Excel; QuickBooks experience a plus
- Experience or interest in online or media industry a plus
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects, and work well in an environment of change
