Twin Cities Eye Specialists is a growing practice located in St. Paul's Highland Park neighborhood, with a focus on delivering excellent patient care. Team members are responsible for developing good patient relationships, while delivering high quality technical patient care.
Specific technical skills required include: patient screening, entrance testing, refractometry (phoropter/trial frame), auto-refraction, lensometery, Goldman tonometry, visual fields, immersion A-Scans, topography, contact lens fitting and evaluations and insertion/removal training, and patient education.
Required qualifications include: A High School diploma or equivalent and ophthalmic assistant experience. Team members must be professional, dependable, exhibit excellent communication skills, be a self starter and be motivated to learn and excel, be capable of multitasking and be able to prioritize and juggle responsibilities of a busy ophthalmic practice.
Preferred qualifications: Formal ophthalmic technician training from an accredited school/program and two-year full-time certified ophthalmic assistant/certified ophthalmic technician is preferred.
Position: Full-Time or Part-Time possible. Compensation commensurate with skill and experience. Ongoing learning is an important part of the job, and we support both in clinic and ongoing technical education.
