Housekeeper, Barnard, VT - June 17, 2017
I enjoy working with my co-workers and there is always something to be done, I like to keep busy. Right now I am working the turndown shift, so when I get there the other girls are usually out doing commons and rounds, so I stay at the laundry building and work on laundry. Then I take a short dinner break and after that the guest rooms start getting called out and we are usually doing that for about 2-3 hours. I do not usually see too much management at night, but when I used to work during the day on Saturdays I would see them and say hello. The best time of the day is hanging out with my co-workers and joking with them. The hardest part of the day is near the end of the rooms coming out and doing a lot of walking because I have had some foot surgery. I learn something new in every room because no matter how many times you do something to clean it is very easy to overlook something, so you always need to be on your toes.
