Branch level employment is very tough with no advancement opportunities. Unrealistic sales goals and pressure that turns away customers. Also very intrusive info needed. Never enough help...long wait times.
I currently work here and the environment can feel very hostile at times. Not enough staff to run branch effectively and pay is not competitive compared to other banks.
Very high pressure, both for sales and customer service goals. Very unrealistic goals. Everyone pretended to like working together. Upper management is scary.
I see "Diverse" in several posts, must NOT have worked in the same business line. Diversity is severely lacking; intimidation and scare tactis are prevelant within "management". Banks own accountability is shaky as no one seems to have an actual answer for procedures.
Horrible. Work environment is tense and hostile and you are constantly scared to voice concerns, praises, etc. in fear that the management will turn on you. Where I worked there was not much culture.
Very positive we all supported each other.

My experience working at US Bank was extremely positive. I learned so much and loved being a part of a team and supporting the SVP of Finance.

The people are friendly but the sales culture is so strong that customers have stopped being PEOPLE and have turned into sales opportunities.
