Pros: free unlimited cell phone usage and new phone every year.
Cons: nobody calls their cell phone carrier to say how happy they are with the service, so usually it was angry and frustrated customers i got to talk to.
I loved my job at US Cellular.
I was able to train incoming employees, work in Customer Service, and support the Sales Department. It is simply a great place to work.
Co-workers were great, especially in the call center where you dealt with co-workers quite often.
Management was always changing, which tells me thee was always room for advancement.
Starting – more... out I worked in the call center. I love working in call centers. I then moved to the Sales Department as a B2B Sales Support Specialist. I also assisted the training department with training new employees.
The best part of my job was talking to customers over the phone and assisting them.
The hardest part of my job was dragging huge boxes filled with cell phones into office buildings when I was 8 and 9 months pregnant in the middle of Winter. I don't miss that. – less
