Pros: meeting people and seeing places i wouldn't have.
Cons: lack of financial resources, also being sick much of the time.
I got up at about 5:30 each day, had a quick breakfast, and then walked 2 to 4 hours to people's farms in the surrounding country side. I did a walk around with the owner and produced a simple map showing where trees could be planted to provide fuel, act as windbreaks, produce fruit for sale, and act as shade. In the afternoons three days a week I taught

The hardest part of the job was the lack of resources and being sick a lot of the time.
The most enjoyable part of the job was increasing interest in apples to the point that they now have an annual apple festival. – less
