Time to move on
Warehouse Associate, Hazmat Specialist (Current Employee) –  Secaucus, NJMay 24, 2017
Compensation does not match workload, workers get little to no respect and advancement does not go to the deserving. available hours have become unpredictable and so it is time to move on.

Fast-paced company allowing for individual growth and opportunity. The company encourages streamline decision making and forward thinkers. UPS is competitive in compensation to employees.

I worked for UPS for 4 years before i resigned. The best part was the benefits they offered us it was GREAT. Just not enough hours for being a part time worker. Easy to move up as long as you really want it.

Package Handler (Current Employee) –  Warrenton, ORMay 24, 2017
...and because of this, I refuse to give anything but a 5-star rating! If I had anything negative to say, how do I know that information wouldnt get turned to UPS along with my name. what a pointless question, to ask someone to review a company they are working for.

Productive and great environment
Package Handler (Current Employee) –  Reno, NVMay 24, 2017
UPS taught me that safety is most important for everyday life. Whether you are out biking, at work, or just in the kitchen cooking. The most enjoyable part of the job is being in a safe environment that allows me to come home everyday after a day at work.

Pretty good average job (package handler)
Package Handler/Sorter (Former Employee) –  Zionsville, INMay 24, 2017
There are several shifts available to work around all kinds of lifestyles. The pay is ok but not unfair. They offer rewards for attendance and reward employees with bonuses for continuing to work with UPS. The managers have always been friendly. Work is pretty monotonous but you can get a lot done and breeze through the day if you get into a routine. Be ready to do lots of physical work and be in extreme hot or cold environments depending on the season.
Pros
pays above minimum wage, flexible hours
Cons
not temperature regulated, very physical work

This is a fast paced job because you have a certain amount of time to unload the trailer with all the packages and place them on the conveyor belt so they can get scanned. A lot of heavy lifting

Equipment were first rate, training is first class, and co-workers were the very best
Feeder Driver (Truck Driver) (Former Employee) –  Amarillo, TXMay 24, 2017
The hardest part of the job, was the first year. Hard, sweaty, and very physical. The second part was the most mentally draining, while delivering packages to several locations and addresses.. But the final job I had there was the most adventurous. Driving through three states, in various weather conditions, with any number of moving or nonmoving vehicles with unknown experienced drivers
