Hello,
I have been applying to all of the jobs in the NYC Metro area that I am qualified for and have not heard anything. I have tried to call a couple of offices and have been told that they do not take follow up calls. I have a degree in Construciton Management and I am looking for an entry level job with a company like URS. Any tips? I appreciate any help.

I'm curious what are the thanksgiving and christmas holidays like at URS? I currently get off the day after Thanksgiving and we are off Christmas through New Years for winter break, all paid days off and I'm curious if it's like this at URS?

I wouldn’t waste my time interviewing with URS/BLL. I went through a month of interviews (3), confirmation from Mertianna in HR that I had the position, verbal negotiations on salary with Mitch and then they backed out. Explanation, I received an email that another project finished up and they were going to be interviewing in house for the position. I’m not the only one, others flew from outside of CA only to be told the position was on hold or the interview was canceled. They ate the cost.

They are looking to pay 20,000 a year for this position. So if you have a college degree, don't waste your time applying.
