All you need to know are the right contacts. Few leaders work with vendor companies to get anybody into any role, for reasons not known and even back them irrespective of their performance.
Work-lift balance is normally good, but depends on your managers. Few feel their direct reports are paid out of their pockets and have the "bossy" attitude. Jobs security is good, as long as you deliver, but don't expect any major pay hikes - irrespective of you being a super star or a side kick. All in all, there is lot of chatter about equality, diversity etc., but looks awesome on paper and that's where it's restricted to.
