Very busy workplace. Fast pace. The staff was great, the office manager and doctors are amazing. Different cases every time and I loved the fact the work was not repetitive. Great workplace

we see over 75 patients on a slow day. We preform annual physical, DOT and DOC physical, Federal and Non federal drug screens, on the job injuries, referrals, and walk in injuries and drug screens.

I currently am the only x-ray technologist at the clinic so I have to take diagnostic x-rays and medical assistant duties.

a typical day at work is busy and Dr doesnt takes the right time to treat his patients the way he should.
i learned how to ekgs the're way, blood drawns,vitals,injectios,UAs .
my coworkers wouldnt really help alot especially my manager

I enjoyed working at US Healthworks because it was fast paced and I was recognized for the hard work that I did. Patients were one of a kind and I enjoyed rooming them and taking their vitals. What I enjoyed the most is that there is no day that is the same, every time there was a new challenge and something to learn about. Working with the patients was great! Management was horrible. Never there and when they were , always too busy.

Checking in patients, rooming patients, filing, obtaining authorizations, faxing records, translating for patients. Learned to obtain authorizations, follow through on assignments. Management was helpful. Co-workers were great everyone worked together. Hardest part of the job was not being able to help some patients due to workers compensation restrictions. – more... Depending on the reason for their visit, but I would take pateints vitals, if its a injury gain get the information, if the patient need injections or blood draw I would do that after the doctor sees the patient.

Great working environment to working at. Very friendly care staff, that goes the extra mile to provide the best experience. Team work is never a issue. We all put are heads together to get all task done in a manageable manner. We all share task, no one task is asign to just one. The Manager is extremely kind, warm hearted and fair. I only work per diem hours and an always off site at a company but every person that I met that worked directly for the company was always friendly and profession.

Urgent Care, plus workman comp. In and out for DOT physicals. the staff are nice and always smiling.

Managemet is poor, They are young, inexperienced and immature. Only productivity matters. You must love workimg with your patients, because mgmt will not notice. There is also high turnover of mgmt, because the do not relate well to staff, and outcomes are not ideal. Its corporation, so productivity is most important.

Learn a lot of different skills while employed. Not a lot of room for advancement, but was rewarding

A typical day at work would consist of huge patient in-flow that made me to adapt in a fast paced environment. I have learned many skills from front office duties such as managing charts, scheduling, greeting patients, checking in and out, and processing paperwork. I have also learned many back office skills as well such as taking vitals, drawing blood, – more... assisting physicians in minor surgical procedures, and injections. Working with my co-workers is the highlight of my day. They make the work environment a comfortable place to be, and they would assist each other with no hesitation. The whole job is the hardest part, but that just made my resolve even stronger of doing my best to keep up with the high quantity of demands of tasks that were presented to me. – less

a typical day at work was working with patients,taking vitals asking questions to better their issue,blood draws,drug test.i learned how to clean wounds stitch wounds,become more talkative once i was out in the field talking to patients was the best part and of course being in the medical field period is my favorite.

I did my extern there and everyone is very nice and caring the manager is excellent in training.

If this is the only company you can get a job for, you need to change your career then. They have poor management from top to bottom, don't care about employees, discriminate, no compliment for your hard work, Supervisor very lazy and unprofessional, they can make your life so miserable and you have no idea. At USHEALTHWORKS.. Great team of providers and staff members but they are greatly understaffed and management does not to much to help or find solutions
