This company is a growing business, acquiring new office every other month. I enjoyed working there for 5 years because it was constant work that always kept me busy. A typical day consisted of auditing/reviewing accounts. Our accounts came from facilities where the patients received treatment. The nurses and facility administrators were responsible for filling our flowsheets on every patient. The information would import over into the corporate office at a certain time each night. My job was to balance the information that imported over night against the billing logs. I also manually entered in charges for patients who treated at home.
The hardest part of the job was getting the nurses and facility administrators, who would sometimes make mistakes with home codes for medication and multiple treatments and medications, to make the corrections needed before billing day.
The most enjoyable part of the job was the incredible team I was a part of.
