We offer both hourly and mileage agreements, for local, regioinal, or OTR runs. Our drivers are available for your dispatch needs for casual, long term, or temp to perm assignments.
The fees charged by USA includes, but is not limited to, advertising for your positions, recruiting drivers, qualifying drivers, DOT physicals, DOT drug screens-per-employment and random, extracting MVR's, verifying drivers experience and DAC services, criminal histories, paying the driver, employment taxes, covering all drivers with workman's compensation insurance, paying the workman's compensation premiums and claims, unemployment filings, and all payroll and administrative duties.
How do we get an agreement in place with USA Driver Systems, Inc.?
We will provide you with an agreement that will state the hourly or mileage agreed rate. Once you complete the agreement and return it to our office with a certificate of insurance, we are ready to provide you with quality CDL drivers.
What type of information will I need to give the staffing specialist?
We enjoy visiting your facility in order to fully understand your operation.
However, we understand that your time frame may not always allow for that. It is crucial that we get a specific description of the job responsibilities, license and MVR requirements, and skills that you are seeking.
We would also like an estimate length of time that a driver will be needed. This ensures that we select a candidate who can perform for the duration of the assignment.
What are your requirements for hiring drivers at USA Driver Systems, Inc.?
We require that all of our drivers:
Must be at least 21 years of age. Have a current CDL, DOT Physical, and a current three year MVR (with no more than 3 minor moving violations)
Pass a Pre-employment DOT drug screen. Have at least one year of verified driving experience in the past three years. Cannot have any DUI's, DWI's, Failed drug screen or refusal of a drug screen in the past eight years. Cannot have any felony's within the past eight years.
How much do you pay your drivers at USA Driver Systems, Inc.?
Since we are a staffing service, we do pay a minimum of $10.00 per hour with over time at time and a half, after forty hours at one client.
We feel that starting drivers out at a minimum, allows the client the opportunity to have a quality driver that will make a commitment with the incentive for higher pay when the contract weeks are over.
Do your drivers participate in random drug screenings?

As a member, we are committed to screening all new driver applicants with DOT pre-employment drug screens, and once they are qualified they are placed in the "Pool" and are eligible for random drug screens also. As a client, you have the right to request a drug screen be performed on a current driver if there is a probable cause or suspicion.
Can we interview and road test a driver prior to offering him an assignment?
We encourage clients to interview drivers if they are looking for long term or temp to perm employees.
As stated in our indemnity and hold harmless agreement, it is the clients responsibility to road test drivers. USA Driver Systems, Inc. can and will set up interviews and road testing schedules as requested by clients.
How much authority do I have over the driver you send me?
While under your dispatch, you have total control over the direction and duties of any drivers we have supplied.
By understanding the demands of our clients, we make each driver aware of what is expected of them before they accept any assignment.
What if your driver becomes injured while performing duties for me?
By utilizing our service, you will never again see your insurance rates or premiums increase due to medical bills and time off work due to work-related injury.
We will send the driver to our treatment center for medical attention and handle all subsequent issues.
How long must I use your service for a temp to perm driver to become eligible to be my employee?
Our temp to perm program is eighteen weeks. Once you have used a driver for eighteen consecutive weeks, the driver can be placed on your payroll as your employee with no extra fees.
The temp to perm program allows the client the opportunity to work with the driver and to see their work ethic and ability before making the commitment to hiring the driver permanently.
What if we decide that we like the driver and want him on our payroll before the eighteen weeks are over?
You can hire a driver to go on your payroll at any time, prior to the completion of the eighteen weeks, for a $6000.00 placement fee.
Just call our offices and we will assist you with all the necessary paperwork to transfer them on to your payroll.
What if I place an order for a driver and then need to cancel it?
If you must cancel your order just call into our office and notify one of our dispatchers prior to the report time. We will call the driver and relay the info to them not to report to the assignment. There is no fee to you for canceling a driver order.
If we issue the driver company items, such as fuel card, cell phone, keys, etc., how do we get them back if the driver forgets to return them at the end of assignment?
Call USA and notify a dispatcher of the items the driver has and we will contact the driver with the instructions to return them immediately. If for any reason, there is an item that has not been returned, we will hold the drivers paycheck in our possession until you have received all of your company property back.
What if we are not satisified with a driver sent to us?
Although we expect your experience with USA to be enjoyable, we realize that issues may rarely occur. Therefore, we can dispatch a driver any time of the day or night, including weekends and holidays.
If, for any reason, you are unhappy with one of our drivers, we will send a replacement. We are equipped with the ability to provide 24-hour service.
If we have an hourly agreement with USA, what happens if we only need a driver for a few hours?
We do have a minimum billing of six hours per day for each driver dispatched. However, there is no minimum with our mileage agreement.
How are we invoiced and when are they due?
Our work week is Sunday through Saturday, you simply complete and sign our USA time sheet and fax it to our payroll department by 10 AM the following Monday. You will be invoiced the same day. Invoices are due upon receipt. You have a five-day grace period to send payment in full to USA. We have several payment options available including direct billing, bank wire transfer, credit card, and debit card payments.
How long do I have to dispute any problems with my invoice?
You have 24 hours from receipt of the invoice to dispute anything on the invoice. Should you find or think there is an error, don't hesitate to call our office immediately to have the invoice corrected. If no discrepancies are reported after the first 24 hours, the invoice is correct and final.
Tell me about the option of paying with a credit card?
Making your payment with a credit card allows you the grace period of up to 30 days or more to float your cost. You are never charged any late fees by paying weekly with a credit card.
When choosing this payment option, you are also eligible for the extra rewards from your credit card company such as frequent flyer miles and many other valuable incentives. Your credit card on file will be debited 24 hours after date of the invoice.
Do you have more than one location that can supply drivers to us?
Once you have an agreement on file with USA, you can be supplied drivers from any of our four locations. We have offices in the following locations:
