Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAMay 16, 2017
Working here is for Name only purposes. The company may have a great name for themselves but unless you're a doctor you're pretty worthless. Management staff in about 80% of the departments are just terrible. They retaliate against you for saying anything. Don't even bother going to your union cause you will be labeled as "that employee" for fighting for your rights.

Positive Chaplain Residency Experience
On-Call Chaplain (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAOctober 1, 2016
Generally an eight hour day. I learned how to provide competent spiritual care and support for patients, their families and interdisciplinary medical staff. The management was supportive and excellent interdisciplinary co-workers who worked well as a team. The hardest part of the job was the loss of life of a beloved patient. The most enjoyable part of the job, was when a patient was saved and was provided a new lease on life.
Pros
Strong team work
Cons
Need for stronger compensation

Management Services Officer I (Current Employee) –  Westlake Village, CASeptember 19, 2016
UCLA is a wonderful organization to work for. Most large organizations don't have the ability to provide the resources that UCLA provides on day 1 of employment in a year. Very impressive.

Collections Representative (Former Employee) –  los angeles, CAJuly 19, 2015
Ucla health systems is the highest stress department within ucla facilities. It is not well managed and favoritism comes into part when it comes to certain employes, not every one within the department can do their job right especially managers. Benefits are great, but as for communication with co - workers and management it is not there
