Customer Service/Technical Support, Las Vegas, NV - March 5, 2015
I initially took this role because it was suppose to transform into an HR role, but the HR director left the company and they brought in an HR director from Stations Casinos (who owned our company). The company ended up closing just 18 months after it opened its doors. A typical day consisted of providing customer and technical support on various issues with the software, installation and maintenance. Management and the team itself were spectacular. Everyone worked well together and management provided strong mentorship and support. Ironically, the hardest part of my job was also the most enjoyable. I really thrived on finding a solution to issues that customers complained about. I really enjoy calming the customer and ensuring them that I will do everything I can to help, then actually following through with it.
