Honda NA E IT - CMO (Former Employee) – Columbus, OH – November 28, 2016
One of the best consulting companies to work for. They offer competitive benefits in regards to salary, medical and retirement. The assigned manager stays in contact and provides continuous feedback in regards to personal performance. Feedback is always constructive and promotes an atmosphere of continuous personal improvement. Great company for individuals who would like to begin a consulting career and also "seasoned" consultants.
Preferred vendor my many companies so gaps in assignments are infrequent.
I personally did not experience anything negative.
15 HR Generalist/ Front desk Assistants in less than 2 years, multiple law suites, and harassment from the VP of HR is why the turn over is so insanely high there. They say they have an open door policy but they don’t and watch your paycheck because any chance the HR manager has a chance to “forget to include your time or pay you” she will. Hope you can handle constant ridicule and harassment from the VP of Human Resources there because she is relentless. The turnover keeps happening because she treats her employees so terribly. The VP of HR has education is psychology and uses that meticulously to inflict mental and emotional torture on her employees. ASK before you accept that position “WHY THERE IS SOO MCUH TURNOVER AND WHY IS THAT POSTION OPEN” before taking it. I wish someone told me it would have saved me a lot of money in medical bills form emergency room visits due to stress
experiance with a mentaly unstable boss

Was provided both work station at the office and liberal telecommuting privileges from home, given the nature of my assignment. Typical activities included clarifying user needs and developing user stories for submission to the client's Agile development team. In addition to further honing my skills with writing up user requirements, I also became familiar with a variety of open source tools such as Confluence (instead of SharePoint), LibreOffice (instead of MS Office), Zimbra (instead of Outlook), Rally, etc. Management and co-workers couldn't have been more helpful and supportive. A great group of people. A thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience.
management & co-workers, technical ecosystem, flexibility, communications, active efforts at staff communication and team-building
The over work flow in the company is directed by top management without having consideration on cost of doing business, defined job descriptions. However overall environment was full of learning with open opportunities and initiation to plan , organize , implement. coupled with flexibility in roles , system , procedures fluid type of organization..
