The Company’s operating company, Union Pacific Railroad Company (UPRR), links 23 states in the western two-thirds of the United States. Manifest traffic is individual carload or less than train-load business, including commodities, such as lumber, steel, paper and food. The transportation of finished vehicles and intermodal containers is part of the premium business.
