Administrative Assistant, Harrisburg, PA - June 30, 2016
As the administrative assistant my daily responsibilities were varied. I handled the phones, directing clients to their representatives for their pension, claim or billing. I scanned and saved clients monthly portfolios for the pension specialists to use for the annual review (almost everything received in the office was scanned/saved as it was a virtually paperless office). I was responsible for the order of supplies for the office and maintenance of our machinery. I learned quite a bit about the individual retirement accounts as far as how they were accessed for loans, withdrawals and closeout. The staff in the Harrisburg office was friendly and supportive of me and each other. The hardest part of this job was how busy everyone was so my training in new responsibilities was slower than I would have liked. I especially liked the respectful way I was treated. I was very sorry when the branch office was closed so my job was eliminated.
