Normal private enterprise
Water Pollution Control Manager (Former Employee), Laredo, TX – October 10, 2012
Performig assigned work
I learnes how it works a private corporation.
Management is profit oriented.
Co-workers were great.
The hardest part was that the private enterprises have a very different approach to customer service than a public company.
The most enjoyable part was working along with co-workers.

A challenging and fun field
Regulatory and Compliance Advisor (Former Employee), Jackson, MS – September 17, 2012
Pros: an excitable challenge
Cons: the hours worked were mindboggling
1. A typical work day of 10 to 12 hours, with a maximum of 27 consecutive hours worked
2. I have learned that a Project Manager needs by far multiple skillsets in order to oversee 40 employees and update upper management simultaneously
3. Supervising with an iron fist decreases morale and thus a decrease in productivity
4. Facilitating OSHA and EPA – more... mandates. The volume of CFR's is mindboggling. A person with an advanced degree will find it impossible to remember all of the regulations. The above is the most difficult part of the job.
5. Learning and understanding the tasks of multiple departments is my most enjoyable. – less

good place to work
Data Analyst of Regulatory Compliance (Former Employee), Hackensack, NJ – June 26, 2012
Pros: good hours, relaxed dress code
Cons: not many full time openings, temp job
not overly busy
learned different things about water and how it is treated and delivered to homes
management changed hands a few times while there
co workers were nice but insecure because were union workers while I was a temp
hardest part of job was disconnecting people for non payment in these hard times
most enjoyable being thanked and appreciated – more... for job well done – less
